ADVOCACY

The Advocacy Committee organizes events, lectures, and panel discussions relating to the issues of the profession, as well as advocating for students both within the school and on a larger scale. This committee also dispenses information about the profession and educational materials on a number of topics in the field of architecture.

Locker Stocker

The Locker Stocker Committee is leading the creation and fabrication of a storage space for donated studio supplies. This will help recycle unused materials that would otherwise be thrown away and donates them to anyone who cannot afford and obtain them. Keep an eye out for this new space in Spring 2022.

Fundraising

The Fundraising Committee is tasked with raising money for the chapter in order to host successful events. This committee also works with the Treasurer to create and balance budgets and ensure the financial stability of the chapter.

social

The Social Committee organizes various activies where students can come together and meet each other. This includes small, quick trips downtown to sketch to the exciting Beaux Arts Ball hosted every spring. Not only is these events fun, but also great ways to make connections within the CAED.

Student Mentorship

The Mentorship Committee organizes the peer mentorship program which pairs underclassmen with older students. This committee also plans supplemental events for the mentorship program participants to participate in.
